What’s Covered

• Workmanship for a full year. If our framing, drywall, flooring, roofing, siding, or any other construction trade we performed fails within 365 days of completion, we repair or replace it at no charge to you under the 365-Day Done Right Promise.
• Written price before work starts. The number you sign is the number you pay. Scope changes require a written change order signed by you first, never a surprise line item after the fact.
• Materials and product handling. We build with named brands like Abodu, Cover, Dvele, Mighty Buildings, Boxabl, Plant Prefab, Tuff Shed, and James Hardie cladding. If a material we supplied arrives damaged or fails under normal use, we handle the replacement process with the manufacturer on your behalf.
• Cleanup as part of the job. A construction site is a workspace, not a landfill. Daily debris removal and a full final clean are included on every project, not billed as an add-on.
• On-time arrival, communicated. If our crew is running late, you’ll know before we’re late. Background-checked, uniformed technicians arrive when we say they will, and you always know who’s walking onto your property.

A real person answers, not a voicemail tree. We schedule a walkthrough with Troy Eastman, owner and lead builder, who will look at the specific issue with you on site. If it’s covered under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, we schedule the repair at a time that works for you, and we complete it at no cost. If the repair involves a covered item that fails again after we’ve addressed it, the second visit is free. You don’t chase us. We show up. Licensed & Insured Backing

A written guarantee is only as strong as the company standing behind it. Benson ADU Santa Clarita is licensed and insured, which means the work is performed to California building code and the property is protected while we’re on it. If a subcontractor or crew member is hurt on your Santa Clarita property, our insurance covers it, not your homeowner’s policy. It does not cover damage from events outside our control, including earthquakes, flooding, fire, vehicle impact, or homeowner modifications made after we leave the site. It does not cover normal wear and tear on finishes, nor manufacturer defects, which are handled under each brand’s own warranty, and we help you file those claims. If you add on to our work later using another contractor and that work fails, that’s not our workmanship. But if our work fails, for any reason related to how we built it, within 365 days, we fix it. That’s the promise, and it’s in writing.

Why We Put It in Writing
